Read Across America Week

This week we had several guest readers in to help us celebrate Read Across America Week. Mr. Higginbottom came in and read Howard B Wigglebottom Listens to his Heart, and Howard B Wigglebottom Learns to Listen by Howard Binkow, Reverend Ana, Illustrated By: Susan F. Cornelison.
My mother, Mrs. Sullivan, came in to read Wilfred Gordon McDonald Partidge by Mem Fox and Make Way for Ducklings by Robert McClosky.
 
Mrs. Higginbottom came in and read Sassafrass.
Mrs. Belisle came in and read some Goosebumps by R. L. Stine. 
Mrs. Barca came in to the whole third grade and read Duck, Duck, Goose. 
Mr. Morris came in and read Jumangi by Chris Van Allsburg to the whole third grade. 
On Friday we got together to read with Mrs. Zarrella's class. It was fun to hear the first graders doing some of the reading  It was also amazing how engaged all of the students were in their books.
Finally, the Cat in the Hat (aka Mrs. Fairweather) stopped in to read us The Cat in the Hat.
