Pilgrim/Wampanoag Project Day

      Yesterday we celebrated all of our hard work by having a Pilgrim/Wampanoag Project Day. The children chose which project they wanted to work on, and were very busy creating Pilgrim houses, Wampanoag wetus, realistic looking dolls, and suitcases packed with what the Pilgrims would need in their new homes.  Here are some pictures or the process and the results.

A big thank you to all of the families for supplies that were sent in to make this event happen.

Inspired by a friend

Bella and Nathan were inspired by Hannah to build their own version of the Mayflower. It is wonderful to see how catchy their enthusiasm is.

Collaboration and team work

Third graders have been hard at work researching the Pilgrim and Wampanoag people. Be sure to ask your child what they gave learned so far.
